Tenants Against Bernier or T.A.B., as in keeping "tabs," was founded in response to what I and others believe to be the highly questionable activities of Judge Lucille Bernier and other employees of the City of Oneonta Court. This means ensuring that the influence of the powerful is enforced to the detriment of the working people of Oneonta, NY, largely by making up the law as she goes along.
However, this blog is meant to be more than simply a forum for mudslinging. Rather it is a way for the "little people" of our city to get involved, register to vote, and perhaps most importantly, stand up for themselves and take back a town that was built by the sweat of their brows, but more recently has become a place where careers are being made on their backs.
I make no bones about it, I have no use for Judge Bernier, she is an Albany Law School graduate who could not cut it in Albany or anywhere else for that matter, and now because of this, the residents of Oneonta (not carpetbaggers) must pay a terrible price. In later posts, I will list specific details of why she has the jurisprudence of Forrest Gump, coupled with the compassion of Leona Helmsley.
